Let's say you have a good refrigerator you just bought to replace an old (working) one. You put the old one in the garage to get rid of, when you hear about the plight of a friend (or acquaintance) who's refrigerator just broke.
You say, "Oh perfect! I have an old one in my garage that you can have!" Then you give it to them and everyone's happy, right? Maybe. But why not take generosity one step further? Why not surprise them and give them the good refrigerator? What is there to lose?
Too often we take the easier path and just give what's required or (maybe) a little extra. Why not take a leap rather then a step? Pushing to give more than is expected actually comes back to you. Generosity generates income. Just a thought.
